Part 2

Documentary following my grandpa and his music, finding out why he plays music, why he plays the instruments he does where/how he got his nickname (Drummie)....

The documentary would have elements of both Expository and Interactive as even though I will not be in shot I will still be behind the camera asking questions (My voice may/may not be in it), there will (hopefully) be images of which I can cut to during the interview, and I may use captions with the clips/pictures. Its Genre will fall under Special Interest.

The target audience would be musicians, people who are interested in music...

The aim of the of the documentary would be to find out why my grandpa still plays music, be it in the caravan, at the pub or busking.

I would most likely be filming in Belton at the Wild Duck holiday park, in my Grandpa's caravan, where he lives in season. I would need to travel there which I would do via bus.

I would probably only need myself and my grandpa for this production, though if I was working with another person it may be that they would operate the equipment and I would be in the documentary, asking my grandpa the questions.

For Equipment I will need a Camera, Tripod, and a shotgun mic, currently I have a set of these on loan for another project, which I may be able to also use these for this depending on when I shoot this 3MW. If I cannot use this equipment I will get some out of the AV room at college. For this project I should not need to purchase anything.
