This is the shot list Jac and i wrote up so we would know what we were doing in each scene. Once we knew what scenes we were doing we could make a storyboard and if necessary change scenes if we decided they would not work.
Storyboard:
For this project Jac drew up a storyboard for us to use, he drew it on paper but unfortunately at the time we could not scan the storyboard to upload it here . However I can upload a picture of the template that we used for our storyboard.
Locations:
Before we decided where we would be filming our short, we had to go scout a few locations. Once we found a suitable route we then recorded the route by filming on Jac's phone as we walked it.
(The quality is not that good as I sped the video up to 8x, and published at a low quality to make sure it would upload)
As well as finding the location, we had to get permission to use that location, we went to the main reception at the college and they directed us to go and see the head caretaker who would be able to give us permission to use the corridors in west block. We got the head caretakers signature on a location release form, however this was also done on paper, so we do not have a digital copy.
Talent Release:
Talent release forms are there to prove that you as a film-maker have permission to use the Actor(s) image in your production. All of the talent in our film (including ourselves) were under 18 so we filled out Minor Release forms which were signed by both us and our parents. Once again we did these forms on paper and do not have a digital copy.
Budget:
This is the budget list for our production so we could record the expenses for our production. We had no travelling costs as we filmed in college. We made a note of the price of every item we would use as a prop in our production, however the only thing we purchased for our production was a duck beak.
Risk Assessment:
To make sure that ourselves and others would be safe during filming we made a risk assessment of everything that could be a problem health and safety wise, and what we could do to stop it being a risk
Production Schedule:
We created the production schedule to make sure that each day of production we knew what we needed to get done filming and editing wise as well as the cast, crew and prop requirements on those days.
